Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Pound Beef Chuck (Cut into 1-inch Cubes)
  • 4 Yukon Gold Potatoes (Cubed)
  • 1 ½ Cups Mushrooms (Halved)
  • 1 Onion (Cut into 6 Wedges)
  • 2 Carrots (Cut into 1/2-inch Thick Slices)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 TeaspoonSalt
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ Teaspoon Dried Rosemary

Directions

  1. Lets gather up all the ingredients first.
  2. Get a multi-functional pressure cooker (Known as Instant Pot), Turn it On & select the Sauté function. Put the butter in the pot for Melting.
  3. Cook beef chuck cubes for about 5 minutes. Better to cook in several batches to make sure all sides of the beef is browned.
  4. Put every browned beef chuck cubes back in the pot. Then add potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions and garlic; cover them with some beef broth. Stir in after adding some Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, rosemary, salt & pepper.
  5. After closing lock the lid. From menu options select Meat/Stew function, as manufacturer’s instructions; set a timer of 35 minutes. Let the pressure to build up for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Using natural-release method release the pressure for about 10-40 minutes, as manufacturer’s instructions. Finally unlock & remove the lid.
